Everton Football Club was founded by members of St. Domingo Methodist School in 1878 and known as St. Domingo F.C. they were renamed Everton Football Club a year later when the team started drawing players from outside the parish. 

Everton Football Club started playing at Stanley Park 1879, in 1882 they moved to Priory Road two years later in 1884 they moved to Anfield, now the legendary home of Liverpool, after a rent dispute in 1892 with the owner they moved to Goodison Park where they are today.
